Grayson Murray fired a 7-under 65 on Saturday to vault eight spots and into a tie for the lead with Puerto Rico's Rafael Campos at 14-under 202 after Round 3 of the Puerto Rico Open at the Grand Reserve Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Murray's 65 was the low round of the day on Saturday and included five birdies on his front nine. He posted two more on the back before dropping a shot to the field with a bogey at the par-4 17th but rebounded to finish with a birdie at 18.

For Campos, who started the day the day two shots behind second-round leader Brandon Wu, the day ended on a disappointing note when he made bogey at 18 to miss out on holding the lead outright going into Sunday.

Tied for third place at 13-under are Australia's Cameron Percy (67) and South Africa's Branden Grace (68).

The 24-year-old Wu, playing in just his seventh professional PGA Tour event, made bogey on his final two holes to shoot 71 and drop into a tie for fifth place at 12-under with Andrew Putnam (67) and Argentina's Nelson Ledesma (68).

Rounding out the top 10 are Ted Potter Jr. (67) and Venezuela's Jhonattan Vegas (69), who set the 18-hole tournament record of 10-under 62 in last year's final round. They are tied for eighth at 11-under. Ireland's Seamus Power (67) is in 10th place at 10-under.

The Puerto Rico Open is an alternate-field PGA Tour event running concurrently with the World Golf Championships event in Bradenton, Fla.
